Reilly's performance as After Miss Julie, at the Donmar Theatre in London was the catalyst for her becoming a London-based star and she earned a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award nod in the Best Actress category for 2003. She's 26 and the youngest person to ever be nominated for the award. She was awarded the Best Newcomer Award in Cannes Film Festival in 2005 for her part as a character in The Russian Dolls. Courtney has a younger sister Jennifer who is an advertising executive. She was a student at Menlo Atherton High School (Atherton, California) and Tamalpais High School (Mill Valley Mill Valley, California), graduating in the year 1985. The actress has also performed for Ensemble Theater Company Mill Valley in her time as an high school student.
